Most believers today do something unbelievable - they put God aside and go ahead with whatever plans they have and expect smooth results. Whereas the reality is, you can not put aside and expect everything to fall into place. The first thing we accept as Christians is the Lordship of Jesus. The first thing we confess is the Lordship of Jesus over our lives. Jesus is to be the chief planner of our lives, the controller, the driver, the leader, the shepherd - the Lord! We can not reap the fruits of salvation if we do not let Jesus be Lord over our lives as he should be. God desires to do so much for us but only if we let Him. Put Him first and you'll watch every storm be quieted, every whisper of the enemy hushed and every trouble ended. Everything always falls into place if God leads.
