Is God Warning You in Your Heart About a Bad Relationship?

Is God trying to warn you so you don’t get hurt in a bad relationship with someone that you think is good for you?

If you have a nagging feeling in your heart that this person is not good for you, don’t ignore that. Certainly don’t make huge life decisions just based on random feelings or thoughts that go through your head. Sometimes we are just making God’s voice up in our heads because we are afraid of relationships.

But one common way that God sends his people warnings is through the impressions the Holy Spirit places on our hearts. God may part the heavens or write on the wall; but more often God simply give us an inner sense through the Holy Spirit on what he is saying to us.

As Proverbs 3:5-6 states, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”
