God Told Me to Tell You to Rest in the Storm

Many people have been scrambling to make it during this past season. Some of us have been working non-stop due to an increased demand in our line of work. Others have been working hard to find a new job or figure out how to replace a lost income. Others of us have simply felt a constant weight of anxiety and pressure. No matter where you are, I believe God has a specific word for you today. That word is this: rest. As silly as it sounds, take a step of faith and do...nothing. Choose to believe that God is telling the truth when He promises to provide everything you need—peace, hope, finances, a break. Even if you can't take time off, make the decision to rest in Him. I'm praying this word encourages you today.
