Wait on the Lord. His timing is perfect. He will do it. Instead of worrying over what’s not working right now, you can ask God to show you what lessons you need to learn this season, and then commit yourself to it. Sometimes, part of God’s work while you wait is to prepare you for the blessing He’s already prepared for you. Sometimes, He just wants to build your stamina for the next level. So, while He is preparing the breakthrough, He is preparing you.
While you’re waiting for the promotion, He’s preparing you to develop patience with others especially those under you. He’s helping you build leadership skills. So, this time, more problems may come, you may get more tasks dumped on you that usual. It’s not a coincidence. You’re being prepared. He’s developing your muscles. He’s testing your faithfulness now that you don’t have power. He’s teaching you to trust Him.
