If you have indeed made up your mind to follow Jesus, then it’s time you deny yourself of some things that everyone else calls okay. It’s time to let them go and to call out to God. Let Him know that you honestly want to follow Him and to learn His ways through His word.
As you open your heart in prayers, commit yourself to reading the word of God, not like a story book but as a life book necessary for your survival. As you read it, make effort to do everything the Book says.
When you do these, God’s power will rest on you.
