1. If You Really Like Someone But They Are Currently in the Messy Stages of Early Sanctification
Don’t gaslight yourself, making yourself believe this person is repenting of sin when in reality they are fully indulging in it. But the spiritual maturing process is often messy. If they are headed in the right direction but need more time to mature, God may be telling you to wait.
2. If This Person’s Request for Forgiveness Is Also Marked By True, Consistent Repentance
Don’t keep taking someone back again and again if they talk a good talk but can’t walk the walk.
3. If You Are Having Problems Together But You Both Want to Put in the Effort to Work It Out
